There is negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks of 40 percent in each section and 50 percent overall for unreserved and OBC Creamy Layer categories. For SC ST OBC Non Creamy Layer EWS and PwBD categories the minimum is 35 percent in each section and 45 percent overall. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of total marks subject to meeting the sectional and overall qualifying criteria. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and medical examination.
There is no physical standard test or physical efficiency test for Junior Telecom Officer posts.
