Age is calculated as on the crucial date of eligibility. Relaxation of five years is available for SC and ST, three years for OBC and ten years for PwBD candidates as per government rules. Ex-servicemen and central government employees also receive applicable relaxation.

Horizontal reservation applies for three PwBD vacancies and three Ex-servicemen vacancies as per rules. One ST vacancy in Junior Assistant is a backlog post.

All qualifications must be possessed on or before the crucial date. Candidates applying for more than one post had to submit separate applications.
Selection Process
The selection process begins with a computer based test of 200 objective questions carrying 200 marks. The duration is 180 minutes. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 50 percent for unreserved candidates and 40 percent for SC ST PwBD and Ex-servicemen.
For Stenographer posts a skill test in shorthand and typing follows the written examination. Document verification and medical examination are conducted for shortlisted candidates. Final merit is prepared on the basis of performance in the written test and skill test where applicable.
