Physical Efficiency Test
The Physical Efficiency Test carries 100 marks. Candidates must secure at least 50 percent marks to qualify. The test assesses physical fitness through events prescribed by the Directorate of Prisons. Candidates who cleared the written examination were called for PET at designated centres.
Selection Process
The selection process for RPSC Deputy Jailor has three stages.
The first stage is the written competitive examination consisting of two papers of 200 marks each. Paper I is General Hindi and Paper II is General Knowledge and General Science. Each paper is of three hours duration.
The second stage is the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. Candidates shortlisted from the written exam appeared for PET.
